Self Rescue part 2

Once on the back deck sit up carefully and shuffle onto the seat again staying low. Next get your feet in one by one. You can use the paddle to help with the "feet" bit. A paddle float can help with all the self rescues.

Self Rescue

Lie flat in the water, put your spraydeck into your mouth(to stop it getting caught under your bum when you climb in) and pull yourself up onto the back deck on your tummy. Stay low to stay balanced.

A smile despite the rain

Shetland Symposium

It never looks the same in a photo however I can assure you it was blowing F5-6 and chucking it down with rain. We did still get out and folks were learning skills, on trips and having fun.
